User story

As a professional on the network, I want access to every platform feature without paying a subscription, so that my ability to network, find work, and build a professional presence is not limited by my financial situation.

Description

The platform operates on a no-premium-tier model. All networking features, job search, messaging, analytics, and creator tools are available to every user at no cost. The platform is funded by ethical means — grants, donations, or optional supporter contributions — never by paywalling features or selling user attention to advertisers.

Acceptance criteria

1. All features are accessible to all users without requiring payment or subscription
2. No feature is restricted, degraded, or rate-limited based on account tier
3. Optional supporter/donation tier exists for users who want to contribute financially — it confers no feature advantages
4. Platform funding model is published publicly and updated whenever it changes
5. No advertising is served based on user data or behaviour targeting
6. No user data is sold, licensed, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes
7. Annual transparency report is published covering funding sources, costs, and governance
